SourceOne report listing all mailboxes with shortcuts

Hello,

Is there a way to produce a report or run a query that will show all mailboxes with at least one short-cutted message within Exchange and SourceOne?

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason,

Shortcutted data is within exchange mailboxes. SourceOne reports may show you what data/mailbox were processed by SourceOne jobs but it cannot show you if today there is any shortcutted email in a user mailbox or not.

If you are looking to make sure mailbox do not have any shortcutted emails the best way is to run shortcut restore activities and keep its logs enabled.

In case you just need to know if there is shortcutted messages or not, that will require manual work by adding message class field to Outlook. That way you can see if there are any messages with IPM.Note.ExShortcut message class. Similarly other message types, they all will have .exShortcut added at the end.

Thanks,

Rajan

I would be interested in the "shortcut restore activities" as this sounds like what I need.  As I have limited disk space on my Exchange server, I would need to know how to run a read-only report.  What are the recommended steps for this report?  Thanks.

Greetings,

Unfortunately there isn’t jobs that you may run in simulation mode. This was a feature that existed in EmailXtender and got deprecated in SourceOne. There is a request for enhancement open to have this introduced (I believe).

Rajan
