Searching has no results, and never completes on SourceOne 6.81.1073 after Microsoft patching

Hello, I have a couple dozen searches in progress within SourceOne that are not completing, nor producing any results.  This started happening after this past weekend's Microsoft patching.  I've stopped the searches and started them again, rebooted, as well as tried various web browser versions and computers.  The index is up to date, looks normal and has no errors.  The ExAsIndex.exe.log files look good.  The app server has sufficient disk space as does the SQL server.  Anybody else experiencing the same issue?

Thanks.

Greetings,

In SourceOne console do you see a worker picked up those jobs? This is to rule out that workers with query role are able to pick those jobs.

Then verbose logs will need to be looked into for finding out what executables are doing that were meant to perform search. You can engage EMC support and they could look into this.

Regards,

Rajan

I am not sure how to tell if a worker picked up the jobs. I ran another search this morning, and it started working.  Maybe I just needed to give it time after I deleted the old hung search jobs?  Or just give it more time after the reboot?  I know S1 is a bit slow to cleanup tasks such as the searches under the Collection Area in the Personal Area in Discovery Manager.  Thanks.
