Installing ES1_archivesetup failed
I have installed the DataBase, Console and Master components. When I install the Archive component the installation process failed and the error information is "Attempt to connect to ExAsCommon failed". Does anybody know the reason?

I recently had the same issue with new installation of DM and did the following below.
Not sure if this will help but i tried numerous things before going this route without any luck. Note however this was a new installation

Have you installed all the prerequisites, especially the Outlook client with the profile ?
I can´t reproduce the error on a fresh installation.

1. Reboot your server.
2. Check if the ExAsCommon XML in your database contains the filled in information.
Can you give a more detailed error description?

Thanks a lot. It worked as what you said. And now when I installed the WorkerSetup component, error occurred again. The error information was "Failed to query the SystemConfig table to get the ExDpKey". Someone already asked the question in the community, but i have done following the methods as other one said. Did you know the reason? Thanks.
