Does ESRS is workable or EOL

I have a Unity 380, and I want to configure the feature of ESRS. with simple configuration.

But I think someone miss guided me on that ESRS is EOL, and it is not workable.

So, i need confirmation that If I configure a ESRS with limited features so it will workable
