Cannot Unbind MirrorView LUN??
Hi, I am attempting to remove a MirrorView LUN. The mirror between the remote and the local system is broken. The LUN is not part of the Reserved LUN Pool or in any storage group. When I attempt to remove the LUN I am not able to do this. Is there anyway that this LUN can be removed?
$ naviseccli -h vnx2 getlun -messner 11 -stack
Listed Driver: K10SnapCopyAdmin
$ naviseccli -h vnx2 unbind -messner 11
Unbinding a LUN will cause all data stored on that LUN to be lost.
Unbind LUN 11 (y/n)? y
Error: unbind command failed
Error returned from Agent
SP A: Cannot unbind a SSLUN while it has SCLUNs defined (0x71008015)
naviseccli -h vnx2 unbind 11

Being used by a feature of the storage system. Cannot unbind LUN: 11

yes the source/target relationship is fractured so the secodnary LUN was not removed from the mirror pair. Is it possible to remove the source LUN now if target LUN was not removed?

No I suppose the array is not gone but the mirror is fractured and there is no IP network connection between the arrays.

what happens if you try to remove secondary mirror. I am just curious if you can "gracefully" clean this up or if it's going to require support involvement.
