RecoverPoint for vm add esxi cluster error
Hello all
We have two cluster of RecoverPoint
I have a problem when I want to add the ESXi Cluster to the RecoverPoint console in the System tab.
This message has appeared in the Event tab :
"" Communication error detected between an ESX splitter(s) and Name of RecoverPoint Cluster. Even though there are no protected VMs running on this ESX(s), it is recommended to fix this issue in case the protected VMs migrate to this ESX(s). If the problem persists, contact Customer Support. ESX splitter(s): ESXi Name ""
"" Uncontrollable splitter detected(Splitter(s): ESXi Name eventid 12078 ""

Hi,
This is most likely a configuration issue. You can check out this KB for troubleshooting:

If this is still an issue, please open a case with RP support.

try to check if the splitter is installed and running on the esxi.

The splitter is installed but its service is stopped and does not start.

If it's ESX 7.0.3, then it is not currently supported. If it's 7.0.2, only 5.3.2 is supported with it.
For any other issue, please open an SR with support.
