R630 PCIe link training failure after CPU removal
Hello. I have a R630 with 2 CPUs. I'm looking to remove CPU 2. I've removed all RAM in the B slots and the server boots fine like this. When I remove the CPU in slot 2, upon boot I'm always given this error:
UEFI0067: A PCIe link training failure is observed in PCIe slot 2 and the link is disabled.
Any ideas why I can't remove CPU 2 without this error appearing? Thanks

It is likely due to something being installed in riser 1 - slot 2, as a second CPU is required for anything to be installed on riser 1, as seen on page 169-170 here.
