M410HD, Firmware upgrade doesn't work

Hello Guys,

I think I need your help on this one ..

I recently bought a used M410HD which should be able to give me a 3D vision. Today I tried it out, the same way I did on my Projector before (Benq W700). Everything fine on Windows side but then I needed to enter the 3D mode in the Projector. But I wasn't able to find it. In the manual is stated, that there should be an option for turning it on. But it clearly isn't available on this one.

So I thought I might need to update the firmware. On the Dell-Site I was able to find one. So I downloaded it, including the software to flash it. Everything fine till here.

I connected the Projector using USB and Windows recognizes it, but can't install the proper driver. The Flashing-Tool also is not able to find the projector. So I tried a little other flashing tools provided by Dell, but I still won't work. I found one flashing tool that could install a matching driver and was then able to find the Projector, but it couldn't install the new Firmware because it is "the wrong for the connected projector" ... But I'm pretty sure it's not ..

So do you already know about this issue? I tried to google it many hours, but I didn't find a thing about it .. :/

Please help me :)

Kind regards,
Leo

Someone from dell could help us with this?

I want to use 3d DLP properties, and doesnt have any. I guess with firmware update some new settings may appear.

But there is no way to update without the projector Windows driver.

Thanks.
