Dell 1610HD Projector does not power-up

Looking for help on my "man cave" projector.

I have set this up a few years ago.. rarely is used...mainly during SUPERBOWL, and World Series... and get togethers.  But when I went to use it today, there is no power at all to it.. not even the usual blue "standby" light on the power button.

Now, I am an admitted geek, so I did the basic trouble shooting, power cord, checked power outlet to ensure power, plugged it directly to outlet instead of surge strip... etc.  nothing it is completed dead.

Only think I can do next is to start ripping it apart.  3 basic question:

1) Even with a burnt out bulb, it would still have power light, right?

2) This is most likely a failed power supply/fan, right?

3) To replace the power supply/fan, or circuit board, this is most likely a paperweight and not worth getting fixed, right?

Any help would be appreciated... Superbowl is Feb 1... need to have something in place before then.. ;)

Of course, it's no longer under warranty... I've had it for at least 3 years, but again, hardly ever used.
