Adding a large monitor for both Photoshop work and watching Netflix - do I need more video memory?

I have a 2010 Dell Inspiron N7010 w/17" 1600 x 900 x 60 Hz screen, running Windows 7. Intel Pentium CPU P6100@2.0 GHz, 1999 Mhz, 2 Cores, and 2 logical Processors. Ram is 8 GB. Audio is Realtek HD Audio.     I want to add a larger monitor for watching Netflix and working in Photoshop with RAW photos. I am currently using Comcast internet with ethernet, giving me a ping of 9, upload of 12, and download of 90. My video card is the Dell Video Adaptor, which says it's an Intel HD Graphic with 2 MB of memory. I have one HDMI output, one SDMMC-MS/Pro output, one VGA output and one SATA output. What do I need to look for in a larger monitor and what do I need to avoid? Should I add another video card or device? Looking for a screen between 25" and 32."
