What should I do if my OST file gets corrupted?

Hello! My OST file suddenly gets corrupted, yesterday while I was trying to connect with Exchange Server, I have got an error message like this:

Then I've searched on internet, and after a lot of search I found the manual solution to create a new profile on Exchange Server and move on. But what I am concerned about my old OST file, which contains all of my personal emails with attachments. So please suggest me how can I recover all the emails safely.

Thank you.

Thanks for replaying, I'm not that kind of techie geek. I only know to manage and access my emails. So after reading your suggestion, I was talking to a friend and he told me to use a third party Recovery tool. He also told me that he will find one good for me. Should I go for a third party tool? Please don't answer if that bothers you.

Thank you again.

NICKNEL,

You can use any tool that resolves your issue. But Dell does not recommend using or allow the posting any of the paid 3rd party software to repair Office. We recommend you using the tools provided by Microsoft.

Actually, your previous solution resolved my issue. Thanks to you. No need to use any tool.
