Ordered MS Office 2016 with laptop, have key, but no sign of it installed?

I have a problem similar, but not identical to what others have seen. I ordered a new XPS-15 laptop with MS Office Professional 2016. I have a small booklet that tells me to click on Office or Word or Excel tile and then activate it. There is No Office tile, and when I click on Word or Excel Tile, it seems to want to activate Office 365, and the 25-char product key on the polythane envelope that the booklet was inside is not even vaguely accepted by the program. The key on the envelope starts out with CN-00H, but it's clear the program wants to start with a five character code. THere's no obvious sign that MS Office Pro 2016 is installed on the laptop.

I'm thinking maybe someone screwed up and was supposed to install it? Or that there's some mysterious way to activate Office Pro 2016 (and perhaps install it and???).
