Need open the file after upgrading
Hi.
I have upgraded my Dell Laptop to Windows 10. But after upgrading i cannot open PowerPoint file which was on my flash drive. I could open it before!
Now i am fetting a message saying 'File can not be accessed'.
Any thoughts please? Thanks

You can first check if the file is read-only, on a read only location, or on a remote server. If the file is on a read only location or on a remote server, then try to copy the file from the read-only location or server to a writable drive on the local computer. The make sure you remove the read-only attribute of the Excel file.
If the Excel file still cannot be opened, then we can confirm the file is corrupt. Do an internet search for free powerpoint repair utilities. You can find a solution here http://www.powerpoint.repair/

Reinstall Office into the system and then try opening the excel file.

Copy the file to your hard drive to open and edit. Office requires hard disk space to open and edit files. Flash drives are are used for storing the files.
