keyincloud.zip not working (files missing?)
Laptop is not booting anymore. Stops with message - no bootable device found. BIOS checked but nothing helped. So I wanted to fix it with the "Dell Recovery & Restore" USB drive and downloaded it after putting in my service tag number. But unfortunately the zip file downloaded is corrupt. There are oviously files missing. Tried it a couple of times.Did anyone have the same problem? Does abyone know how to fix this problem. Thanks.

I followed the instructions from How to create and use the Dell Recovery and Restore USB drive | Dell US (which has directions for Win7, Win8.1 and Win10 - I assumed Win11 would be similar to Win10).
When I clicked link "Dell Recovery and Restore", zip file downloaded and may appear to be corrupt (I downloaded 3 times, same number of bytes).
Trying right click on KeyInCloud.zip and selecting "Extract All" to extract compressed files, I get yellow warning triangle stating "The Compressed (zipped) folder is empty. Before you can extract files, you must copy files to this compressed (zipped) folder." (right-click on keyincloud.zip and selecting Properties shows 550 MB).
Double clicking on keyincloud gives me yellow warning triangle stating "The compressed (zipped) Folder ...keyincloud.zip is invalid."
Skipping to Step 2, I followed instructions to use "setup.exe" (in search window) to launch the installer; wizard appeared and for 45 min ran thru several stages of creating the image. After completing, I found the Recovery file in C: System Recovery/Repair (timestamped 1/18/2023, 2 minutes prior to finding the folder), and Properties show 0 folders, 0 files, 0 bytes.
The Dell instructions are not working for me and many other people. Does Win11 require different instructions, or does Windows Explorer not handle .zip files, or do I need to permission to open downloaded file, ...? The MS prompts/warnings are not helpful.
Suggestions?
