Inspiron 5490 AIO, DMC App out of date

Hi, I have a Inspiron 5490 AIO and until this morning I was able to use the DMC (Dell Mobile Connect) feature. I performed an updated to my desktop and when I try to connect my phone, I receive and error message stating that the Mobile Connect App on my phone is out of date. I currently have version 3.1.0. installed on my iPhone, which is the latest. Is anyone else having this issue? I contact support and they told me it was a software issue and for $99 they will fix it.

I fixed it by uninstalling DMC, then reinstalling it. Works fine now. Thank you for all your suggestions,  for me.

You probably have to look in Apple's app store for an update for the iPhone.

the latest version is installed - 3.1.0.

Are you sure it's referring to the app on the phone, rather than the app on the PC?

Yes I am sure.

The error msg states "The Dell Mobile Connect app on your phone is out of date. Please update your app to continue."
