Visit Dell's official website and navigate to the Support section for your G15 5525 model. Download the My Dell software from the "Drivers & Downloads" section. Install the downloaded file and restart your laptop.

Hi @SteelPenguin

Has the service warranty for you Dell G15 5525 expired yet?

The support page at https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-ca/product-support/product/g-series-15-5525-laptop/drivers for your Dell G15 5525 does not have a download link for the new My Dell v3.x application, and  when I enter you computer model at the download page <here> for the current My Dell v3.0.447.3 (rel. 28-Jul-2023, MyDell-Application-Full-Installer_J0G9C_WIN_3.0.447.3_A00.EXE) your Dell G15 5525 is not listed as a compatible model.

There are several users currently having problems re-installing My Dell on their computer - see moosaa's 26-May-2023 Error 2762 When Installing MyDell for one example.  My 02-Aug-2023 post in nay win's XPS 9510, My Dell App Not Compatible to Install includes instructions for installing the My Dell v2.x UWP (Universal Windows Platform) app that is still available on the Microsoft Store at https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/my-dell/9PN7T3JFPRZ6 (note my comment in that post about the Fusion Service required to run My Dell v2.x that is listed on your Dell G15 5525 support page).  This is the My Dell v2.x app I currently have on my Inspiron 5584 / Win 10 laptop but I'm not sure this UWP app will still install correctly on a Dell G15 5525 with a Windows 11 OS.

Hi @SteelPenguin :

If you are still having problems installing the "legacy" MyDell v2.x UWP (Microsoft Store) app then please see XPS_Man's 23-Sep-2023 suggestion in cannot install my dell application after reinstalling windows 11 and even the tech suppport is not helping to enter the command winget install 9PN7T3JFPRZ6 in an elevated command prompt with Administrator rights.

Dell is apparently aware that users are currently having issues installing the "legacy" MyDell v2.x app from the Microsoft Store at https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/my-dell/9PN7T3JFPRZ6 and are trying to fix the problem.
