091-042 end of life message has been on my Dell E525W Laser Printer for Six Months-Update

Dell E525w Color Multifunction Printer

The error message about the cartridge being near the end of its useful life has been on my laser printer for three months. It's still printing fine. When I first got that message what happened was it assigned a different IP address to my printer. I fixed that and it went back to printing as usual and it's been three months. Is it near the end of life or not? Is that sometimes just an error message? I bought a new printer and it's still in the box. Here's an update from April 20th, 2024- The message still says printer near end of life. It has been 6 months at least since that message showed up on my printer. If you get this message, don't believe it and then run out and buy a new printer like I did which has been sitting in the box for 6 months unused. I'm starting to think it's a scam. How could it show me that end of life message and still be printing six months later? Between this and the Dell laptop I got that was only 4 years old but too old already for Windows 11 I doubt I'll ever buy another Dell product.
