My Precision 5550 works for a while, than stops charging with the USB C port.

My Precision 5550 eventually stops charging.  I've had the problem and had it fixed by changing out the motherboard.  However, 6 months later, it started happening again with my motherboard.  Furthermore, several other people at my work are having similar problems.  Even though we are a tech group, my boss is no longer recommending that we buy and use Dell engineering laptops for this reason.
