Dell Preceision M7710
Hello
I am currently in the very strange situation.
1. I had issue with my GPU. After I replaced it my nvme degraded now I use only the ssd, because I do not have any nvme available, but anyway
I am trying to install Windows 10 or I went down to Windows 7 even, now I tried Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04
Nothing can be installed on this laptop anymore or at least I can't
When I tried to install any windows I get blue screens all kind of blue screens
Ubuntu some nonsense errors. I do not know what to do.
I ran diagnostic build in dell diagnostics I even tried some other bootable software
All said pass pass pass on everything
I removed the CMOS battery hold the power button to drain the system, upgraded the BIOS to the latest version
I use dell servers laptops and many of their products for many years and I never see something like this before
The original windows 10 that was installed I can go to safe mode only, but I can't reinstalled from there I tried
I tried installing windows with Legacy, UEFI and UEFI with secure boot, I tried almost all versions of windows 10 + windows 10 LTSB
Any help would be really helpful for me at this point
Thank you
Here are some of the data I collected
This is from Ubuntu

it seems that your GPU replacement was the source of all issues. If possible, verify if you had replaced it with a compatible part or any motherboard components get damaged during the process.

@Chino de Oro I replaced with the same GPU that was on the laptop and the diagnostic said is OK
This errors was before the replacement and after that I got the same

Strangely that everything was passed with the diagnostics scan while you have had issue with GPU and M.2 slot/bus. To bypass installation issue, test with an SSD with pre-installed OS on similar system (a difficult part for home users). Remember to use the same BIOS settings for the OS installation.

@Chino de Oro I am not a home user, but this my home laptop. It didn't pass the test before I replaced GPU and removed the NVME. That's why I replaced them. This test is after. Strangely is that after all the test passed I still can't install the OS (any OS). I tried to run pre-installed OS on the SSD (as I said I do not have any spear NVME at this time) I even tried with clone system because I have one more exactly the same dell 7710, so I clone its windows 10 and tried to run on that system and still I am getting the same blue screens.

Seems my problem diluted even the almighty dell philosophers here. I tried chat gpt it went into an infinite loop. Do this do that or contact the dell philosophers and all over again. LoL That must be a real issue for AI and dell. Anyway I will find some of my solutions as always
