Precision 5820, Technical Support could not answer my question
I am a contract employee, a radio reading service for the blind. An FM radio station sends "our" recordings and live broadcasts to 5,000 blind persons every day in the Nation's Capital Area on a subcarrier that requires a special kind a receiver. A Precision 5820 was bought from Dell in September 2023. It was inspected in April 2024 and found to be missing four unoccupied PCIe slots that would have Dialogic printed circuit boards plugged into them. The question is: Does Dell sell a computer that has four unoccupied PCIe slots? Molto bene.

Unless I misunderstood the question, the Precision 5820 motherboard does have 5 PCIe slots. While one slot would be required for graphics video out, the remaining 4 PCIe slots are unoccupied.
I provided the answer here as I don't want to give out my email information. Note that the bandwidth on those slots are vary. You can see the motherboard layout below for reference.
