PowerStore 500T error code 0x01802002.

we are trying to deploy a PowerStore 500T but found the error "Status of ICMP reachability of network addresses(unreachable)". In KB it is only said to check cables and VLAN in the switches and NODES. Checked them and found them identical to the deployment guide output.

We are using DELL S4112T On switch as a TOR switch and there is no uplink used but for the management, we are using customers' cisco nexus 3k. There Is no Embaded 4 port card only 4 PORT I/O modules that have RJ 45 ports.

If anyone has any solution or suggestion please let us know.

I have this problem too. I have two Nexus 3k switches and it seems that I need to enable IPv6 on the port with the management interface connected. The controllers use an IPv6 ping in an internal network. You can find the IP addresses under Settings -> Network IPs -> ICD. These links explain it:

PowerStore: Health check fails with error: check_idc_node_reachability_failed | Dell US

PowerStore: ICM and ICD networks are unreachable when IPv6 is not explicitly configured on the VLAN interface | Dell US

And this link apparently solves it:

PowerStore: Minimum configuration for utilizing Cisco Nexus Switches with PowerStoreT | Dell US

But my question is, what is the minimum Nexus OS to be able to enable ipv6. Because I can't execute any of the commands in the last link. Example:

NEXUS-01# conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
NEXUS-01(config)# int e1/25
NEXUS-01(config-if)# ipv6 ?
traffic-filter Specify access control for packets

NEXUS-01(config-if)# ipv6

 Thanks

Update:

The reason I didn't have the "ipv6 enable" command is that my management VLAN is defined on another switch and not in the one the management ports are connected to. Up in that switch, I am able to enable IPv6 at the VLAN level.

Let's make it simple. I use a dummy switch (only default VLAN 1) to connect both Nodes' Management port. Install Windows server for DNS/NTP. And run the PowerStore-Discovery-Utility-3.0.exe tool to discover the un-configuration Powerstore.

Only alert as I have 01 management switch
