Powerpath viewer Mangement comp only works on win2k3
Hello all,
I have the Powerpath viewer running and I have been installing the mangement component on all of my servers. So far, the viewer can only connect to the clients running the management component 5.3 P01. I can't connect to a client running mangement Component 5.5 P01
Client
Enable = Yes
Port = 9083
Heartbeat = 15 min
Single Path Gatekeepers = ok (disable warnings)
Server is 1.0.SP1 b032

Sorry the title is wrong, should read "Powerpath viewer management comp only works with 5.3 P01"

Hello,
Can you ping the PowerPath 5.5 client from your PP Viewer management console server?
Is any part of this virtual? ESX or Hyper-V
Can you describe some more details about one of your unreachable PowerPath 5.5 clients?

Couple other suggestions:
On the machines that are running mangement component 5.5 P01, do you have a firewall enabled or a firewall somewhere between them? If so you'll need to open the port that the Viewer uses to talk to the host.
Also, are there any errors in the system log for the managment component? If so, could you post them?

I believe we have some sort of networking problem.
