VxRack, ScaleIO and Remote Sites

Hi,

We're in the process of renewing our datacenter and we are considering Hyper-Converged infrastructure so the VxRack is an interesting solution for us (with full VRealize suite) but we are planning to upgrade the infrastructure of some branches as well with less complex hardware (appliances) but we need to understand how this will be managed through a single management solution? we understand that ScaleIO is the software used to manage the storage of the VxRack cluster but will it be used to manage the remote sites' appliances as well? if so then to perform which functions? does the remote sites' appliances will be part of the VxRack cluster or each site will have it's own cluster? because we may consider to buy less expensive appliances from other providers if they can be managed by the vRealize or VMWare if this is possible.
