R620 Poweredge Not Reading Drives When Booting PROXMOX
Hello, I am not able to get my server running PROXMOX as it shows not hard drive found, there are two ssds in the server on 250gb and one 500gb, I tried getting help from the community there and they narrowed it down to being something server and dell related and not a proxmox issue, I have reset the BIOS, and downloaded the new BIOS as well and it still shows the error, please help thank you!

Hi,
Proxmox is not a validated OS for PowerEdge server to support, hence you might be having an issue with the OS detecting the drives through the RAID controller hardware which needed for communication between the drive and OS. There are some users manage to install and boot, but we do not have a definite solution for the issue. One user used Clover software to combine OS with driver, some set the RAID controller to non-RAID, some even flashed a non-Dell firmware into the RAID controller. Hence, if you need help from this community, I will monitor this post and wait for any users to provide their feedback and findings.
