MULTIPLE SAS HDD FAILURES
Hello,
I am using 4 Dell EMC ME4084 Storage along with 7 expansion unit ME484. A total of 800 SAS HDD's are attached to the storage unit. A total of 30 Servers are connected with it DELL EMC POWER EDGE R740.
The system is running continuously for 4 years. From the 3rd year Multiple hard disks started failing a total of 120 Hard disks had been replaced for the last year.
The system is used for CCTV Surveillances so the read and write function for all the disks will happen daily.
Can I know the reason for failure.

For now, I’d say that you can check to see if the disks needs firmware update if the replaced disks are the same size.
