Dell Powerdge Server 720DX - issue with the fan socket that sits on the motherboard, out of 6 only one work

Are the fan sockets that sit on the motherboard replaceable.

My issue:

Server shut down, does not power back up.

Troubleshooting - out of the 6pins sets sitting on the motherboard for hot-swap plugins, only One works out of 6.

All the fans works Only when plugged into that One slot on the motherboard.

Are the pins-sockets that sit on the actual motherboard to plug the fans into, replaceable?

Thank you in advance.

Hello mmos1133,

Referring to the image on the link:

#5 - e. cooling-fan connectors (6) are not replaceable. They are soldered to the system board.

Hello, I think you mean "Cooling-Fan Assembly" can also be called a fan cage. I think you're talking about the part in the link over there https://dell.to/3uudvMM

Here is the appropriate part code "R2K4K" I could find for my R720XD:
You can search for the service tag on https://dell.to/3qX0v1l and see the part codes on your server in "view product specs" under quick links on the right.

Hope that helps!

The picture in the article describes what I am looking for.

Where it is labeled no.5 is the exact item I referred to.

Just to confirm, it is that item in no.5 below the fan cage you are referring to as replaceable, correct?
