1920W UPS error 199 - replacing fuses
I have a error 199 (battery disconnected) on a rackmounted 1920W UPS. I verified that the battery pack is properly connected.
The user manual indicate that the error may be due to the fuses, but I cannot see where these fuses (2 x 30Ah according to the manual) are located.
Did anybody had to change these and can provide me some assistance? Thanks

Hello Guybrochard,
When you reset the connections are the connectors tight or wiggle?
I am not seeing the location of the fuses but they are probably in the battery tray:

I will note that when it was new under warranty any component failure, including the battery requires a full UPS replacement.
If you are still under warranty please call into Support to set up a service case.
See if the error just needs to be cleared and monitor.

3. Reset UPS error state - monitor and check results
If issue remains-
4. Reset UPS to factory - monitor and check results
If you want to try to replace the battery this is the part number

Thanks Charles,
The fuses are not on the battery tray (which is just a transparent plastic container for the 6 cells).
I checked the connections on each battery to see if any was loose. Also checked the connector between the battery pack and the unit ...
I already tried to reset the UPS, without making a difference on the error message.
The UPS is few years old, and not under warranty anymore. But it would be a shame (and a waste of money) to just trash it if the problem is simple to solve. Hence the question regarding the fuses ...
Thanks again,
Guy.

Hello Guybrochard,
The fuses should be on the main board. I attached an image of a similar 2400W UPS.

I found them under the plastic sheet covering the front parts.
I'll try to test them, and hope for the best.
Thanks,
Guy
