Type Of Wire Needed For Butt-Connected Extension of an Optiplex 9020 Power Button

I have swapped out my Optiplex 9020 MT's Motherboard into an extra large ATX case, & after installing everything  else I want, am down to having to do a splice & butt-connection of the power button wire from the motherboard for it to extend & reach the power button; what specified wire is needed to make this work?

If your ATX case uses traditional 2 pin power switch cable you can simply plug into the motherboard 5 pin power button header.  No need to worry about leaving the other 3 pins not connected. You only lose power led which is not big deal.

If the case uses standard 9 pin FIO connector for power switch etc., you can do the same by aligning pin 6/8 of connector with the two power sw pins of the Dell 5 pin header.
