Optiplex 5050 SFF Adapt 5 Pin CPU Fan To 4 Pin

I have a SFF 5050 with the standard blower style cooler fan designed to blow heat out the back of the case. I bought a new fan for it and it still has an annoying mechanical, buzzing noise I don't want to hear. I removed the fan only and mounted the standard circular fan from the cooler on a 9010 DT. It went on fine, but the 9010 has a 4 wire, 5 pin I think it is called latch type connector. The 5050 board takes a 4 pin. I tried shifting the empty pin to either side of the 4 pins on the board and I heard it get power at boot, but it would not turn on. I need an adapter that is 5 pin male to 4 pin female. Anybody got a link?

I could consider just swapping out the whole cooler and fan if there is a quiet one that will work.

The 5 pin latch type connector is for Dell proprietary cpu or sometimes chassis fan. Your blower fan uses industry standard 4 pin.  To use the Dell fan for your gpu, you need this Dell Fan 5-Pin Male to Standard PWM Fan 4-Pin Female Adapter Cable

(you connect Dell 5 pin latch connector to the socket of this adapter, then plug the 4 pin connector into your gpu)
