Dell Optiplex 9010 SFF Desktop Computer Hard Drive not recognized
When running the onboard diagnostics I get a green check for the hard drive, but it won't recognize it to boot.

you need to install a Windows or other OS on the hdd before you can boot from the hdd. If previously installed OS on the hdd is corrupted, or the hdd has failed segment due to age, it can cause problem booting.
if you do not have data you need to save on the hdd, try do a clean Windows 10 OS install on the hdd, which then will hopefully boot from it.
