Can I set the Dell small form factor 7050 default ethernet adapter to full duplex on Ubuntu 24?

Every time I try:

sudo ethtool -s enp0s31f6 autoneg on speed 100 duplex full

my pc falls off the network.

After I try to set it, dmesg -T says:

[Fri Aug 9 18:09:38 2024] e1000e 0000:00:1f.6 enp0s31f6: NIC Link is Up 100 Mbps Full Duplex, Flow Control: None

Ubuntu:

Any else have this problem?
