TechDirect down- can not register account

I was set up with a new dell account for my company to create an api for warranty info in tech direct, However the site has had registration issues for over 2 months now and I can not create an api. is there any way around this?

While I am not aware of an outage currently, I do know they are doing some maintenance on it, so it may just be an intermitent or temporary issue.

It is not intermittent. I also have had this issue for months now and check back weekly. There is a big banner at the top of the site saying there are known issues.

What do you mean you are not aware? There is a big fat banner at the top...

Hi,

 

Just to confirm, is the issue occurred at the term and condition page of acceptance? 

 

Another question is, you're registering a new account using company email? How about using your current community account to log in to tech direct?

Yea after I accepted the terms and conditions i got this error:

I want to transform this account into a company account.

If that doesn't work, I am also willing to make a new account if it works.

Login in TechDirect works currently with this account, but when I try to contact you this happens:

Hi,

 

Apologies, I don't know German. But the error you have looks the same and as what you have described. I tried using other email account to create, and I had an error at the page where the Terms and Condition acceptance. 

 

I'm unsure if you have received an email from TechDirect (Welcome email) with a Log in Now button. I've used that link to do the T&C acceptance, and it did not prompt any error. Would you mind checking if you have received such email? This might be the workaround.

Same issus here too. Unable to access it with new and existing accounts within the company:


It constantly hangs on these pages too:

Even when the contact form is filled out correctly it hangs on services and subject so when Submit is pressed it errors. It makes contact impossible via this route:

I have submitted the issue to the team, but am unaware of how long it could take to resolve it, but they are aware.

It appears to be two different issues between you two, 1st is issues creating API, and the other is creating a profile. Would each of you reply to the private message I sent you with customer name, email address and the API you're attempted to create?
Also, are you able to use the warranty API which is already adopted?

@DELL-Chris H ​ Where can I find my messages? It didn't appear in my notifications yet.

After logging into the Tech Direct portal, I am supposed to accept ToS, which does not work.
If I'm quick, I can click on “Contact us” before the ToS error message.
This is shown in the last screenshot I posted here.
“Services” and ‘Subject’ are constantly loading, without success.

How can I make use of my warranty now? I have several devices here that suddenly stopped working.

Well I heard back that the TechDirect access issue is resolved. but as we aren't part of the TechDirect group this may be easier to answer if you call in and speak with the TechDirect group, as they have access to all the pages you are working on, or you can see if anyone else in the community could assist you here on the posting.
