Silent upgrade to DCU4.1 not working
I have a bunch of machines running various versions of DCU and I want to update all of them to 4.1 but the silent install does not seem to be working.
When I run “Dell-Command-Update-Application_P5R35_WIN_4.1.0_A00.EXE /s” as admin, it prompts for a UAC, I hit yes and then nothing happens. I can still see DCU 3.1 is installed. Am I missing something? Also if it's supposed to be silent, why does a UAC prompt appear?

Not sure if 4.1 has the same change that I noticed on 4.2 but the syntax for the switches is now /s /v/qn at least for 4.2. The /v sends the /qn (quiet, no UI) to the msi that is now part of the installer.
