T310 H700 cannot update firmware.
Dell T310 Server with a H700 controller. Running Server 2008 R2 64 bit standard. H700 current firmware is 12.10.1 Need 12.10.7. all attempts have failed with the error that the installer is not a compatible configuration.

Hello.
There are two versions of the H700 controller. The H700 adapter which is installed in the usual PCIe slots and the other is intergrated version which goes into a dedicated internal slot. The firmware can not be interchanged. What is the part number of the controler card that you are using?
