perc 6 disc removal poweedge t610

Hellow. I have a poweredge T610 with perc 6. Bios and perc with the latest driver version. I have a raid1 with 2 sas disks. 1 appears online and another degraded (foregin). I would like to know if I can remove this degraded disk without any problems. It won't destroy my raid1, right? Then I put a good disc in place of the degraded one. Or do I have to first click over there on replace member disk ? If you can help me please. I've done it in different ways with newer servers, but I'm afraid to do it before I get some help.
