Unable to reinstall Brother printer
I am computer illiterate, so please bear with me. I have a reconditioned Studio 1737, which has completely crashed twice since I purchased it in May. I had to restore to factory settings both times. After the first restore, I was able to reinstall the software for my Brother MFC-240C with no problem. This time I get an error message:
Cannot start Application Installer ["C:\Users\InstDataName\DiskSetupDisk\Setup.exe"/10x0]
Brother support states that it is a computer problem. Dell support says I have no software warranty, and perhaps he could fix the problem for $70.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?

When you restore the computer, did you do it this way...

Of course, I was unable to back up anything since it was completely frozen and would not boot up.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can possibly resolve this?
