Don't like new Manuals

I just lost a thread I started and was a waste of time to post to lose!  What is wrong with this site?

Just wanted Dell to know I don't like the newer Manuals. I don't like how they white out all but the part in question on that particular page. I understand the idea, and don't argue that it is a nice feature, but I don't like it at all. It makes it hard for me to see the overall pc components and is most likely only good for the uninitiated.

@User1190

I do not know exactly what you mean. What is whited out? You are correct this site has more problems than a Heifer in a pasture full of Bulls.

Thanks for your opinion. I prefer to use the PDF versus the HTML. Example =

XPS 8940 Service Manual PDF versus XPS 8940 Service Manual HTML

I never click "Reply" and then compose a message because of the Forum time out. Instead, I do all of my composing in notepad. Then copy it. Then hit Reply and paste it into the box.

@User1190

What part is in question?

@DELL-Chris M

Just a note the captcha (I am not a robot) sometimes does not show. Now when I click post I am going to get an error. I am gonna send you a screenshot instead of posting it in this thread.

Thanks Chris, I use the PDF also, but as you can see on that manual, everything is Whited Out in the pics but the part in question/focus.

I also use documents sometimes to compose a post but it is more work.

Now I don't even see a way to Quote?

Almost lost another post because I forget that I'm not signed in coming from email notifications...Ridiculous
