"wireless capability is turned off"

Hello!

I have a smiliar problem as many others when my wireless all of a sudden stoped working.

In my networks connection it says that it is not connected even thought i try to disable and then enable the device nothing changes.

I have used some tips from other threads and have for example unchecked the save battery option of turning of the device in device manager, restarted the computer but its still not working.

Its a inspiron 15 3520 and its running in desktop mode

The repair option that my computer gives me is obviousely not working and here is what the network diagnose says:

This actually worked. I found so hard, but after all that failed, you suggestion saved me. Thank ypu so much. It seemd that it is a dell computer property. Fn + PrtSc to turn on or off the wireless network.

Dell Precision M4700 laptop:
Traced the problem to the physical WiFi switch on the right side of the computer. The red wire was loose, I then pulled off the black wire and soldered the two together. Problem fixed.

Before that:
1. Did all BIOS and Windows settings
2. Purchased a USB WiFi adapter
3. Replaced the hard drive from another similar model, where the WiFi never had a problem

Fn + F2 worked like a charm!

Hello, in many websites I saw this problem... And the solution was using F2 or Fn + F2... In my laptop the same problem was there and I used those solutions... But it did not work. Then I used Fn + PrtScr which is next to F12 in dell laptop and it worked... If then also it is not working than try calling Dell call centre.
