WD15 Docking Station Connectivity Issues

I am unable to get the Dell WD15 (K17A) to work with 2 x Acer Nitro monitors.

The desktop is an ASUS G74SX running Windows 10.

The WD15 has a USB-A to USB-C Comsol adapter ("supports data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps").

I have downloaded and got to run Intel's Driver and Support Assist.

I am unable to install Dell's SupportAssistLauncher as I get the returned error "This PC is not supported. This application is only for Dell and Alienware PCs.

The installation error occurs even when attempting to install as "Run as administrator".

The USB-A to USB-C adaptor is initially detected (auditory feedback and able to be seen in Devices and Printers) as USB2807 Hub.

Then after approximately 30-seconds, a yellow triangle with period symbol is shown on the USB2807 Hub's icon.

Then, after approximately 60-seconds, the USB2807 Hub icon disappears from the Devices and Printers list.

What else do I need to do to get this docking station to work on this system?

I should also mention that I have manually downloaded and installed each driver in chronological order for the WD15 (Support for Dell Dock WD15 | Drivers & Downloads | Dell Australia) resetting the laptop each time as each application requests once it's respectively been installed.

I have also determined that when using the NVIDIA Control Panel (GeForce GTX 560M graphics card) that the monitors connected through the WD15 aren't being detected (but when I have the HDMI-to-HDMI the GeForce GTX 560M graphics card detects the laptop display).
