Installing windows 10 on an old computer

I'm trying to install a copy of windows 10 onto a computer that someone gave to me.  Yet, every time I try to connect to the internet, I get a message stating "Windows did not detect any networking hardware". Every solution I have come across requires internet access to fix.  Can someone tell me how to update my networking drivers without internet connection? Or help me connect to the internet without wireless?

mariebraige,

You would need to go to another computer to download the drivers for your computer and put them on a cd or a usb drive. You can then bring them back to your machine and install them. You mention that your system is an older one. There may not be any Windows 10 supported drivers available for your computer to download from the Dell site below.
