How to get WiFi Dell Inspiron 620 i3-2120 with Windows 10 x64

I tried most of the things I found on web using various 8.1 and 10.0 drivers for the Dell 1502 card in my machine. I had the occasional connect and then continued dropping connect. I did the zillions of resetting various networks settings. Nothing fixed it, until I spent $5 on a 1540 half min adapter card and plugged it in. That with the 8.1 (308) driver instantly connected and has remained reliable. No change in distance to router (100 feet) or router settings was needed. Windows picked up driver and ran instantly when booting machine. Speed is equal to all my other desktops (HP, Lenovo, etc). I'm on a backwoods slow DSL, and here are my results.

So you removed the 2011 DW1502 and installed the newer DW1540 mini card and got better results. Perhaps the DW1502 was just defective? You could test the DW1502 in another computer to verify it is indeed defective.
