Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series cannot connect with 5G Wifi, too
I purchased a Dell Inspiron 15 3000 two weeks ago. It is not detecting the Linksys wireless router's 5G. I've already logged into the router admin and turned 5G off and on but my wireless still did not find the 5G.
Other devices are connecting to 5G without issue.
How do I have my new laptop connect, too?

Having difficulty connecting to 5g WiFi with Inspiron 3000 series laptop. When selecting 5G connection I get the response “cannot connect”. Fix found here.
