Can't locate DW1490 wireless adapter

1. Check if the wireless adapter is physically present in your laptop: If the wireless card is not physically present in the laptop or if it's not properly seated, the adapter will not be visible in the device manager.

2. Update the drivers: Go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for your wireless adapter. If your adapter uses a third-party driver, you can try downloading and installing the updated version from the vendor's website.

3. Use Windows Update: If you are unable to find the updated driver from the manufacturer's website, you can try using Windows Update. Go to the Start menu and click on "Settings." Then click on "Update & Security" and click on "Check for Updates."

4. Disable and re-enable the adapter: Go to the Device Manager, right-click on the "1394 adapter," and click on "Disable." Then right-click again and click on "Enable." This will refresh the device driver and may help to detect the wireless adapter.

5. Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter: Go to the Start menu and click on "Settings." Then click on "Update & Security" and then click on "Troubleshoot." Find the "Hardware and Devices" troubleshooter and run it.

It is a DW1490 card , I have reseated the card, restarted the 1394 adapter. It not even showing up on the device manager. I have no other way to check to the internet to update drivers. I thought I have an Ethernet port, but with does not pass internet. It appears to be for other networking. I have no clue where to turn next. I have ordered and USB adapter as a last option to get it to connect.

So now I have a USB adapter for the internet.  It shows on device manager, but still I can not get access to the internet.  Any help will be appreciated.
