Why do we observe the same MAC address on every physical port and the OOB management interface?
My co-worker was in the process of documenting IP and MAC addresses in a new server rack. We have a few S4048-ON switches and the `show interfaces` command reports the same MAC address for all the ports, including the OOB management interface. Dell networking is new to us, and we expected to see a unique address per interface/port. Maybe this isn't specifically a Dell thing and instead a basic networking concept that we just don't seem to be aware of...
Can someone explain this to me?

@phoebesmith Thank you for the explanation . . . I am wondering though, why did you link to software (SnapTube) that is completely unrelated to the topic?

Hello,
I hope this can help:
Dell Configuration Guide for the S4048–ON System 9.14.2.0
Page 387
Dell EMC Networking OS Behavior: The system uses a single MAC address for all physical interfaces.
