Migrating from Dell switch software OS9.11 to Dell OS10
Hi All,
I've recently started a new role in a Dell infrastructure and I'm new to Dell switches. The site has 2 x S4048-ON for our SAN which are being replaced as like for like with 2 x S5248F-ON. The old switches config are exported as TXT files but the new switches seem to have a startup.xml file for config.
Is there an easy way to export / convert the current S4048 config files that I can import the config to the XML format that the S5248F needs or do I have to manually edit these files?
Any advice would be appreciated?

The old s4048 running FTOS9.x which is a little different. But iam surprised about the XML because we deploy S52xx very often these days. I have to ask my colleague about that.
But.... if you use "show running-config" you will get the plain TXT and can copy and paste the config from the old to the new one. I should do it port by port or section and check the outcome. OS10 got a lot of changes during the years. There is a general MTU default for example.
