Make sure have backed up the configuration to a TFTP server.

It is REQUIRED that the factory defaults reset be completed while connected through the terminal interface with a null modem cable, since all other access method configurations will be deleted. You will no longer be able to access the switch via web browser or telnet since there will not be an IP address assigned to the switch.

Here are the commands to Reset to Factory Defaults:

Console# delete starup-config

Startup file was deleted

Console# reload

You haven’t save you changes.  Are you sure you want to continue (y/n) ?

Y

This command will reset the whole system and disconnect your current session.  Do you want to continue (y/n) ?

Y

To verify that the switch is set back to factory defaults once the switch reboots.

Console# show startup-config

Empty configuration

Console# show running-config

Empty configuration

Also from the Web UI you have this option:

Hope this helps,
