U4021QW, firmware M2T102 not installing

I'm having some trouble installing the DDM for macOS. I'm getting a message if I click on the DDM icon saying I need to update the monitor firmware? I already installed the Firmware M2T102, but it's still giving me this error message in notifications after I click the icon on the top right of my screen? I tried finding a readme or something to see if I had to do anything extra after installing the firmware installation. All I could find was it takes about 30 minutes to update the firmware, that's it. It's been over 3 hours and it's not doing anything. My Dell U4021QW is connected via USB Type-C to my MacMook Air M1 and I have no extra monitors or extra connections, I checked and confirms my DDC/CI is on in my monitor. I've checked numerous times if it has updated on my monitor manager to see if it updated to firmware M2T102 but it's still at M2T101. I've also restarted after 2 hours. Anybody else get their DDM for macOS to work?

I fixed it!

You have to run the MonitorFirmware (monitorfirmwareupdater) program which is installed on the Mac in the Dell folder. Search for it with spotlight.
