U2720Q, flickering problem

My current panel is a Dell U2720Q which was a warranty replacement for my P2715Q which died in just under three years. Kudos to Dell for the speedy replacement.

However, occasionally, and seemingly at random, my Dell U2720Q will flicker unbearably. It's hard to replicate but I have a video of it. I emailed EMEA support, but can someone please contact me to help with the warranty process on this panel as well?

You will have to prove the fault via video and then troubleshoot with EMEA Technical Support.

The replacement U2720Q does not get new 3 year warranty. It only carries the original P2715Q warranty start/end dates. If the original P2715Q warranty has expired, the replacement U2720Q has a 90 day warranty from the dispatch date.

Hi there,

I have an identical problem.

I have tried:

1) Replacing the display cable (USB C and HDMI cables were both tried).

2) Powering the unit down for a few minutes.

3) Changing the display settings (the choice is very limited on my Mac Mini M1).

None of these has proven successful.

Could you please suggest how I should proceed. This is a business monitor for Somerset IT Ltd.

Regards
