On the U2413, is there any way to turn off RTC?

Winstar78,
Are you testing using the Dell supplied DVI-D Dual Link cable?

If this helps, I tested this on the DVI-D Dual Link cable and Mini DisplayPort. I tried on two custom built PC's (one with a GTX 680 and another with a 8800GT) and a Dell Precision M4400 -- they all exhibit this, plus the corners being tinted green/pinkish-red. The two PC's running were Windows 7 x64 and Windows 8 x64 and the M4400 is Windows XP x86 bit. If this and the green / pink can be resolved, I'd buy three of them.

This thread was asking about the RTC, but I do not know if the scrolling issue on the Forum is part of RTC or not. So for sure we have two users that have reported seeing the scrolling issue:
adobepro A01
Winstar78 A00
Winstar78, Did you all do this as adobepro did?
* Open the monitor OSD (On Screen Display)
* Go to Display Settings
* Go to Smart Video Enhance
* Change this from Movie to Off
* Exit the monitor OSD
* Open the DDM (Dell Display Manager)
* Click Auto Mode. This should open the Auto Mode tab
* For all listings, change them to Standard
* Check for the issue by going to our forum and scolling up and down

Yes, I made all possible tries,
and i know what smart video enhance do, it's an interesting feature but I disabled it very soon.
I can say the scrolling problem is more evident in adobeRGB profile, unfortunately that is the most important profile and my favourite...

This is a U2413 thread, so I will open a new one about my experience with U3014. But I can tell you all that, at least in a 1680x1050 res, no scrolling issues, ghosting. A greenish backlighting glow, black background.

It's a notebook ( HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook / Windows 7 Home Premium 64 / i7-2630QM 2.00/2.50 GHz / 8GB / Radeon HD 6770M ), with no DVI port; so I'm using a DVI >>--> HDMI adapter, and I can't get 2560x1600res... Dunno if I'm doing something wrong.

(offtopic) anyway I could reach 1920x1200 with an hdmi-dvi adapter. I used it for years because asus laptop only had hdmi. Dunno if I could have more res. because i never had >1920 monitor.
