This is a users helping users forum, we are not Dell employees.  Any warranty issues must be dealt direct with Dell for your area.

Thats fine..all I am asking is for some suggestions from anyone who have faced such issues before to have this problem fixed

Contact the reseller on ebay and get the original Dell order number for the monitor. Not the ebay work order they generated when they sold it to you. The original Dell order number will tell us the start and end date of the warranty. If they paid for the warranty, we can transfer the monitor warranty into your name. If they cannot provide a Dell order number, we cannot verify the warranty period.
